BookExpo America

One of the reasons for my trip back East was to attend BookExpo America at the Javitz Convention Center. We (Samantha and I)  are showing SHAG with an independent book promotions company, and we're going check out potential publishers for some of my future projects. I'll report back and let you know what happened!

Better than Facebook

I joined Facebook basically out of pier pressure--everyone I know on the planet is on Facebook. But the games, the quizzes, and the cutesy little things aren't me. This is MUCH better. SO... in the vein of yesterday's post, some more artful pictures I took at a botanical garden up the slope of Haleakala, about 20 minutes from where I live in Pukalani.

Someplace to get started

As my first post, I thought I would share a couple of pictures I recently took. These are close-ups of iris taken with a macro lens. Unfortunately the detail is compromised and the color is washed on both, but I like the way the bottom photo suggests something alien and otherworldly.
