All Things Wonderful (to ME!)

This is an embroidered piece of fabric that has been folded to look like a men's tie. When I actually construct it, the bottom edge will be fringed and it will have a very light interlining since the cloth is on the heavy side for a tie.

I Was Thinking Cherries

My BFFMaui has frozen dark, sweet cherries in the freezer. They're from Costco but it doesn't matter. They're organic.

So I've been wanting to do something with the cherries. Quick-ish... a cake or muffins.

Thinking, thinking... now I'm thinking cherry danish... something with a sweet cheese filling.

I have some goat cheese. Lilikoi juice. Eucalyptus Honey, let's scent that with rosemary from the garden - an egg yolk to thicken it when it cooks - a lovely pastry filling.

The frozen cherries - and a simple, slightly-sweet cake made with soy milk and yogurt.
